In 2014 the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) moved to a new model of joint working among cancer CTUs. In place of accreditation, an NCRI Cancer CTU Group was established to bring together the field leaders that contribute at a national level to the advancement of cancer clinical trials, using simpler entry criteria that complement UKCRC registration.

OCTRU applied to become an NCRI Cancer Clinical Trial Unit and we are pleased to announce that we were successful. Please click this link to find out who all 16 units are http://www.ncri.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/NCRI-Cancer-CTU-Group-Members-2014.pdf
