The Operative Rib Fixation (ORiF) Study is now open to recruitment! The Queen’s Medical Centre (Nottingham) has been activated with James Cook University Hospital (Middlesbrough), Morriston Hospital (Swansea) and John Radcliffe Hospital (Oxford) to follow.

Funded by the NIHR HTA Programme, the ORiF study is a pragmatic, multi-centre, 2 arm RCT nested within a population registry (TARN).

The ORiF Study is led by Chief Investigator Associate Professor Benjamin Ollivere; sponsored by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and managed by the Surgical Intervention Trials Unit (SITU).
