Oxford Trauma are pleased to open their first overseas site for the SCIENCE study.

The study, which investigates the optimal way to treat a broken elbow in children, will open at sites throughout Australia to boost recruitment. Prof Dan Perry, Chief Investigator adds “It has been a huge achievement of the trial team to get the study open overseas, and I am very grateful. Trauma in children is very seasonal, with summer months having about 5 times the rate of injuries, with playgrounds and bouncy castles. We hope that by opening sites in Australia, we will be able to achieve excellent year-round recruitment”.
