The Director of the Kennedy Institute, Professor Fiona Powrie will be speaking at The Times Cheltenham Science Festival, this June.

The event Our friendly bacteria will look at the microbiome - the population of more than 100 trillion microorganisms that live in our gut, mouth, skin and elsewhere in our bodies! - and how it links to our immune system. Immunologist Fiona Powrie will be joined by microbiologist Lindsay Hall and event chair Adam Hart; together they will explore our body's vital bacterial ecosystem and what happens when things go wrong: from allergies to cancer.

Are you around Cheltenham on Tuesday 2 June 14:30? Then join us for a lively discussion on how the immune system is keeping our teeth from falling out!
