THIS SESSION COVERS:

  • Statistics – why do we need them for clinical trials?
  • The importance of between group comparisons and highlighting problems with interpreting within-group changes
  • Explaining some mind-twisting statistics terms (understanding what we mean by significance, p-values, estimation and hypothesis testing)
  • Explain why clinical significance is also important
