Amaury Trockels

MBBS, BSc

Taught MSc student

As part of my undergraduate medical degree at Barts and The London, I completed an intercalated BSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine, which triggered my interest in musculoskeletal research.

During my foundation training in Southend University Hospital, I was appointed as a lead clinical education fellow for undergraduate students and simultaneously pursued further training in medical education at QMUL.

Currently, I am a core surgical trainee working in the Kent, Surrey, Sussex deanery, actively preparing for a career in Trauma and Orthopaedics. In conjunction with my clinical work, I am pursuing an MSc in Musculoskeletal Sciences to enhance my understanding of the research principles that underpin clinically meaningful scientific advancements. I am interested in the continued development of evidence-based practice in surgery and how this can benefit orthopaedic patients.
