Thomas Fieldman

MSc Taught Programme

I am a junior doctor with a strong interest in rheumatology, in particular autoimmune diseases. During my MSc I have had the opportunity to focus my learning on secondary failure of biologics in rheaumatoid arthritis, the use of janus kinase inhibitors in rheumatoid arthritis, and the use of autologous stem cell transplantation in the treatment of systemic sclerosis.

During my elective at medical school spent time at the Mahidol-Oxford tropical medicine research unit in Bangkok where I learned some basic computational modelling techniques which I hope to use in studying autoimmune disease.

In my free time I enjoy watching films, running and eating out!
