Objectives:

  • Literature review of economic evaluations conducted alongside critical care based RCTs
  • Identification and critical appraisal of methods of baseline data collection (particularly health-related quality of life)
  • Provide recommendations that could potentially serve as guidelines of good practice for researchers in critical care
