In late May the COOL (COSECSA Oxford Orthopaedic Link) programme ran an additional orthopaedic training course on the subject of paediatric orthopaedic surgery, hosted by CURE Ethiopia Children's Hospital and Black Lion Hospital, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This week sees the last currently planned course, on Hip and Knee surgery, also run at the same location. Students will be learning about total hip and total knee replacement surgery and also how to identify orthopaedic problems that will benefit from this treatment.
