Clinical academic in Orthopaedic Surgery

Hasan is a clinical academic and performs post doctoral research on implant design, biomechanical work and clinical outcome studies. 

Hasan studied his DPhil on knee replacements at the University of Oxford under the prestigious Henni Mester Scholarship, the Royal College of Surgeon's Research Fellowship and Goodfellow Fellowship. He has previously studied a Masters in Tissue Engineering under the Leo Pharma Scholarship into designing intervertebral disc replacements for which he graduated with distinction. Additionally he completed the highly competitive Academic Foundation Programme during which he published several Orthopaedic papers and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.  Hasan has had a long standing interest in medical research and has been awarded various prizes, publications and academic distinctions for his work.

Hasan is an enthusiastic teacher in his spare time and regularly teaches and examines Orthopaedics for medical students at the University of Oxford.
