I joined the Centre for Statistics in Medicine and NDORMS in October 2019 as a Clarendon Scholar studying for my DPhil and am investigating the use of observational data alongside clinical trials to inform health economic evaluation. I am currently exploring methods used to derive comparative effectiveness and other parameter estimates from routinely collected data for use in cost-effectiveness analysis.
Prior to starting my DPhil, I worked in consulting roles involving economic modelling to support submissions and internal decision making in the pharmaceutical industry as well as outcomes research to support value-based contracting in the NHS.
I previously completed an MSc in Health Policy from the London School of Economics where I explored socioeconomic determinants of frailty in England for my dissertation. I additionally have research experience in biomechanics and clinimetric evaluation from my prior studies.
