Xiaoyi Min

DPhil student

I joined Oxford Orthopaedic Engineering Centre (OOEC) and started my DPhil research in October 2021 under the supervision of Professor David Murray and Associate Professor Stephen Mellon.

My research aims to improve the fixation of cementless Oxford Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty and reduce the risk of tibial component valgus subsidence and periprosthetic fracture of the tibial plateau.

Prior to joining OOEC, I graduated from Imperial College London with First-Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering (MEng). My Final Year Project was on 'Finite Element Prediction of Bone Remodelling'.
