A number of students have undergone training with the Counselling Service to act as peer supporters and provide a listening ear for those with welfare concerns.

Our current peer supporters at NDORMS are Nicole Dvorak, Alice Robinson and Lion Uhl. Please contact them directly if you want to talk confidentially with them about anything that concerns you.

There are a number of additional peer supporters available within the Medical Sciences Division which are listed here. Please contact them directly or come to one of their drop-in sessions if you want chat confidentially with one of them.

Many MSD peer supporters also joined the Coffee Ambassadors, a student society which offers free peer support to students and junior researchers. You can find out more about them here.

NDORMS PEER SUPPORTERS

NDORMS has three fully trained Student Peer Supporters, Nicole, Alice and Lion. You can contact them to arrange a meeting, coffee or walk etc. should you have any concerns that you don’t wish to discuss with your supervisor or Graduate Studies Team.
