We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the University of Oxford as an Apprentice Recruitment Administration Assistant in the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS).

Working as part of the NDORMS Human Resources Team, you will be involved with the full recruitment cycle, from drafting effective job descriptions and adverts, to interviewing applicants and supporting new starter inductions. You will have the opportunity to work with scientists, researchers and support and professional staff to recruit the talented individuals we need to support NDORMS’ ground-breaking medical research.
 
About the apprenticeship
As part of this role, you will undertake an Apprenticeship with Abingdon and Witney College where you will complete a Level 2 Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship.
For this apprenticeship, you will complete your training at NDORMS’ departmental offices in Headington, Oxford. You will also need to attend Abingdon and Witney College fortnightly over four months.
 
In total, it will take 18 months to complete all elements of the apprenticeship, with support from the Department, University, and College throughout.

About you
You will be passionate about starting your career in recruitment and excited about the opportunity of becoming an apprentice at the University of Oxford. You may be starting your career, or you may be looking for a career change.
 
To complete the Level 2 apprenticeship, you will need to evidence passes at 9-4 or A*-C in GCSE Maths and English.
To help check that you have the potential to achieve these, Abingdon and Witney College will ask you to complete a short initial assessment during the application process. There are also government residency requirements for Apprenticeship funding which the Training Provider will be able to advise on.
