The SARAH trial evaluated the clinical and cost effectiveness of a hand exercise programme for patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis of the hands, with positive results due to be published shortly.
The manual that describes the treatment programme developed for the SARAH trial is designed to guide the hand therapist through the SARAH exercise programme with detailed descriptions of the different elements.
The aims of this manual are to:
- Provide the background and justification of the programme.
- Provide a procedural reference that explains what needs to be done to deliver the SARAH exercise programme in clinical practice.
The manual and accompanying documents are now available to download. We are currently providing these materials freely, however we would like to collect details of who is using the materials and where and how they will be used.
