WHIST (Wound Healing in Surgical Trauma) is a non-CTIMP run through CCTR of standard wound management versus negative pressure wound therapy in the treatment of adult patients having surgical incisions for major trauma to the lower limb. The final patient, number 1632 was recruited on 17th April 2018 at Nottingham after 21 months of recruitment. 

Many thanks to all 24 sites involved for their hard work and determination. Now to get on with the 5 year follow up!
