Through the COOL Programme, nine one-week advanced orthopaedic training courses were delivered in the COSECSA region by UK and regional faculty, aimed at senior surgical trainees with a career interest in orthopaedics. Since the UKAID-funded programme finished, we are grateful to various donors who have continued to support further orthopaedic training courses in the region, continuing the partnership between Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and COSECSA surgeons.
