I am a DPhil candidate in Interdisciplinary Bioscience (BBSRC DTP) working under the co-supervision of Professor Michael Dustin and Professor Matthew Wood. My work focuses on characterizing the extracellular vesicles (EVs) that are released by into the immunological synapse, a nano-scale gap between T cells and antigen presenting cells. I aim to build a platform for engineering T cell inspired EVs that can be utilized for targeted immunotherapeutics. Prior to this, I graduated with a BS-MS dual degree from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali, India. My research interest revolves around the interface between synthetic biology and immunology with a focus on solving vital challenges in cellular diagnostics and targeted molecular therapies.
