Ashwini Sreekanta

Systematic Reviewer

I am working on the NIHR Systematic Reviews Programme Grant: “A programme of high priority Reviews for the management of patients with hip fracture: a collaboration which can inform future healthcare policy guidance".

I have an interest in evidence-based healthcare and health policy and experience in systematic reviewing and guideline development. Recently I was on the technical team for NICE Clinical Guidelines including 'Sepsis: recognition, diagnosis and early management'; 'Chest pain of recent onset (update)'; 'Emergency and acute medical care in over 16s: service delivery and organisation'; and 'Venous thromboembolism in over 16s: reducing the risk of hospital-acquired deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism', at the National Guideline Centre, Royal College of Physicians.

I also have experience in client-focused systematic reviewing, evidence submissions, horizon scanning for new and emerging health technologies (NIHR National Horizon Scanning Centre), and pharmaceutical regulatory affairs.

Postgraduate certificate Public Health, University of Birmingham; MSc. Advanced Neuro- and Molecular Pharmacology, University of Bristol; BSc. Pharmacology, University College London.
