Carlos joined NDORMS in 2016 as a Research Physiotherapist and the ACL SNNAP trial coordinator, a study aiming to compare the clinical and cost effectiveness of two management strategies for non-acute Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury (rehabilitation versus surgical reconstruction).
He is a chartered and HCPC registered Physiotherapist with musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, sports and neurology experience. Prior to this role he completed his MSc in Physiotherapy in a Portuguese University and worked in sport clubs, clinics, community hospitals, MSK outpatient, orthopaedic wards, hydrotherapy pools, among others.
