- Powrie Group | Mucosal Immunology Research Group
Prior to joining the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology in May 2017, I studied at King’s College London, where I graduated in 2016 with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences with Extramural year.
Between my second and last year of university, I performed an industrial placement year in research laboratories at St George’s University of London, where my work focused on establishing new antimicrobial combinations and their mechanism of action against antibiotic-resistant Gram-Negative bacteria.
Currently, my role within the Powrie group first consists in providing research support for various projects, including the Inflammatory Arthritis Microbiome Consortium (IAMC). I additionally help organise and manage the running of the lab.
