Daniel Johnston

Postdoctoral Researcher in Host-Microbial Interactions

I moved to the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology in September 2017 having completed a PhD in Immunology in Trinity College, Dublin. Currently I am working as part of the Powrie group to try and understand the molecular basis of host-microbe interactions, particularly in the context of intestinal macrophages and their interplay with commensal microbes.

I also currently hold the Bryan Warren Junior Research Fellowship in Linacre College, University of Oxford.
