Clinical Trials Data Entry Clerk/General Assistant
My position is that of Clinical Trial Data Entry Clerk and General Assistant. I am responsible for the processing of incoming data and provide administrative and clerical support to the RIDD Trial management team, particularly the Senior Clinical Trial Team Manager. In addition to this, I have my own duties within the team.
I qualified as a Barrister in 1994 after my Bachelor's degree in law and my Masters degree in medical law and ethics. I specialised in reproductive and foetal law and rights of patients. I worked for the British Medical Association advising on contracts and "Calmanisation" when the new Specialist Registrar Grade was introduced and have advised on employment and planning law – assisting in editing the chapter on planning law in "The Architects Legal Handbook".
