Iain Sander

DPhil Student

Iain is a graduate student in the Carr Research Group and is co-supervised by Prof. Andrew Carr, Dr. Pierre-Alexis Mouthuy, and Dr. Julie Stebbins. Iain is working on the project "Developing a humanoid bioreactor for tendon tissue engineering", with a particular focus on optimizing motion of the bioreactor. 

Prior to joining the Carr Research Group, Iain completed a degree in Chemical Engineering at Queen's University and started medical school at the University of Alberta in Canada. Iain plans to eventually work as a GP or in rehabilitation medicine.
