Lab Manager (Histology Facility)

  • I completed my undergraduate studies in Italy and I was awarded a first class honour degree in Biotechnology at the University of Naples "Federico II".
  • After completing the PhD in Cell Biology in Aberdeen and the PostDoc in Neurosciences in Stockholm, I found my scientific niche in the Histology field and I joined the Kennedy Histology Facility in 2014.
  • I have been leading the facility since 2018 providing scientific support to internal, external and private companies users. We support a wide number of researchers by offering sample processing into paraffin, sectioning, staining and also training in various histological techniques. We have also been involved in public engagement activities promoting biological imaging (BioArt). Please visit our website for more details about our services and activities.
