Ivy Raymundo
Clinical Trial Manager (ORiF)
I am currently the Clinical Trial Manager for The Operative Rib Fixation (ORiF) study: a multicentre randomised controlled trial assessing the clinical and cost effectiveness of operative rib fixation versus conservative care for patients with multiple rib fractures.
After graduating in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) in Human Physiology, I undertook training at a commercial pharmacy and became an Accredited Dispensary Assistant. I then began my career in clinical research and worked as a Clinical Trial Support Officer at the Oncology Clinical Trials Office (OCTO), also at the University of Oxford. I then went on to work for a Contract Research Organisation for 3 years as a Clinical Trial Administrator and Clinical Trial Coordinator respectively. I have worked on a variety of UK-only and global trials across different phases and therapeutic areas such as colorectal cancer, renal cell carcinoma and multiple sclerosis.
