Clinical Trial Manager (ORiF)
I am currently the Clinical Trial Manager for The Operative Rib Fixation (ORiF) study: a multicentre randomised controlled trial assessing the clinical and cost effectiveness of operative rib fixation versus conservative care for patients with multiple rib fractures requiring ventilator support.
After graduating in 2011 with a BSc (Hons) in Human Physiology, I undertook training at a commercial pharmacy and became an Accredited Dispensary Assistant. I then began my career in clinical research and worked as a Clinical Trial Support Officer at the Oncology Clinical Trials Office (OCTO), also at the University of Oxford. I then went on to work for a Contract Research Organisation for 3 years as a Clinical Trial Administrator and Clinical Trial Coordinator respectively. I have worked on a variety of UK-only and global trials across different phases and therapeutic areas such as colorectal cancer, renal cell carcinoma and multiple sclerosis.
