James is Centre Administrator for the Arthritis Research UK Centre for Sport, Exercise and Osteoarthritis based in Oxford.

James completed a BSc in Sport Science from Bangor University, Wales in 2009, later completing an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology in 2012. Since University, James has worked on several research projects and was a research assistant for the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in a Talent Testing Identification Program with the aim of creating a model that predicts future international cricket players at a young age.

James is primarily responsible for the administration of Work Packages 1 (Epidemiology) & 4 (Translation), whilst working closely with Bronya Norton and Jo Bartram in Nottingham. James is also responsible for the administration of various research projects conducted by Prof Nigel Arden and his team.
