Personal Assistant to Professor Prieto-Alhambra
I have been working as a Personal Assistant to Professor Prieto-Alhambra within the Pharmaco and Device Epidemiology group since 2019, acting as the primary point of contact for inquiries and visitors, both internal and external to our organisation. In this pivotal role, I oversee a range of administrative duties crucial to the seamless execution of Professor Prieto-Alhambra's extensive research endeavors.
My professional journey reflects a diverse background rooted in a deep commitment to healthcare and academia. Before joining the Pharmaco and Device Epidemiology group, I gained valuable experience as a nurse and practice manager in a dental clinic. Additionally, I have experience in simultaneous translation and have worked as an English teacher for young children from non-English-speaking families. This hands-on experience has equipped me with a unique perspective and a versatile skill set that I now bring to my administrative role.
My academic foundation is built upon a solid base, having earned a Diploma in Experimental Science and a BA in English Translation from the University of Tehran. Furthermore, I am a qualified Dental Nurse in the UK, enhancing my understanding of healthcare dynamics from multiple angles.
In my current capacity, I derive great satisfaction from contributing to the impactful research conducted by Professor Prieto-Alhambra and our team. I am dedicated to ensuring a seamless flow of communication and providing efficient administrative support to facilitate the realisation of our research objectives.
