Marta Campolier

I joined the department as a Clinical Trial Data Clerk for the UKSTAR (Study of Tendo Achilles Rehabilitation) WHIST (Wound Healing in Surgery for Trauma) and DRAFFT 2 (Distal Radius Acute Fracture Fixation Trial 2) trials in August 2016.
In April 2017 I was promoted to be a Clinical Trial Administrative Coordinator for WHIST and UKSTAR, both led by the Chief Investigator Prof Matthew Costa.
From January to June 2018 I also had the opportunity to collaborate with Ass Prof Xavier Griffin as a scientific officer in the ethic applications for two cohort studies using collected routine data (TRACER and Pre-DIRECT).
Since July 2018 I am the trial manager for the WHIST study.
My background is in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and I have a PhD in Women’s Metabolism and the Menstrual Cycle. My interest is to work in Clinical Trials with the aim of contributing to the improvement of patient’s health.
