Clinical Study Administrator

I joined NDORMS in July 2017 as a Clinical Study Administrator for research projects led by Dr. Fiona Watt in the Arthritis Research UK Centre for Osteoarthritis Pathogenesis. One of the main studies I am actively working on is the KICK study, a longitudinal study of individuals with joint injury, examining their later risk of osteoarthritis. I also provide administrative support for other active clinical studies and clinical trials in the field of drug treatment of osteoarthritis.

My background is varied; prior to my current role I worked as a Research Technician at the Bristol Veterinary School, working on projects related to canine osteoarthritis. My pending MSc involved a therapeutic clinical trial of docosahexaenoic acid supplementation in dogs with osteoarthritis.

I graduated in 2012 from Sparsholt College (University of Portsmouth) with BSc (Hons) degree in Equine Studies and went on to spend a year in Kentucky assisting with exercise physiology and nutritional research in Thoroughbred horses.
