Clinical Trial Manager
I joined NDORMS in July 2017 working on clinical research studies led by Professor Fiona Watt in the Centre for Osteoarthritis Pathogenesis Versus Arthritis. I am currently Trial Manager for the RAMBOH-1 study. RAMBOH-1 is a proof of concept study investigating the effect of a retinoic acid metabolism blocking agent on base of thumb osteoarthritis. I also work on other studies in hand osteoarthritis (HOPE-e), and knee osteoarthritis (KICK, MenTOR), and am the project manager for the STEpUP OA consortium.
Prior to my current role I worked as a Research Technician at the Bristol Veterinary School, working on projects related to canine osteoarthritis. My MSc (R) awarded in June 2018 involved a therapeutic clinical trial of docosahexaenoic acid supplementation in dogs with osteoarthritis.
I graduated in 2012 from Sparsholt College (University of Portsmouth) with a BSc (Hons) degree in Equine Studies and went on to spend a year in Kentucky assisting with exercise physiology and nutritional research in Thoroughbred horses.
