Shiraz Sabah

FRCS(Orth) BSc


DPhil student in Musculoskeletal Sciences

Shiraz graduated with distinction from Imperial College, London in 2010. During his time at medical school, he achieved a first class BSc in Surgery and Anaesthesia. Subsequently, he completed academic foundation training in London, before joining the Stanmore Rotation for higher orthopaedic training. Shiraz has previously completed important research on metal-on-metal hip replacements and was awarded the WJ Little Medal in 2018.

Shiraz is currently completing a DPhil in Musculoskeletal Sciences at the University of Oxford. He is interested in patient-relevant outcomes following revision knee replacement and has recently been awarded competitive research fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons and Rosetrees Trust. 

He has a strong interest in surgical education and is the trainee representative on the editorial board of the Bone Joint Journal.
