I work with Professor Oppermann's group and the SGC (Structural Genomics Consortium) Research Informatics group to assist with the use of the Universities informatics and Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) platform, Scarab.
I obtained my Ph.D in Tumour Immunology from the university of Birmingham in 2015, exploring the molecular nature of the interaction of γδ T-cells with their targets. After my Ph.D, I worked as a senior molecular biologist at Oxitec, working to develop genetically modified insect strains, which are used to to control pest populations which damage crops and spread disease.
