Kennedy Institute Laboratory Manager
I joined NDORMS in 2016 as the Kennedy Institute Laboratories Manager and Safety Officer. My role is to support to all research groups based in the KIR, from equipment set-up, maintenance and repair, to guidance with Health and Safety matters. I work closely with staff, students establishing policies and procedures as well as ensuring day to day running of laboratories services.
I have been in the University since 2002, starting at the bench as a research assistant and progressing to become a laboratory manager since 2007. My background at the bench means that I am always looking for practical solution to ensure the continuity of research.
