Ying-Chun Chen

BEng; MSc

Ying-chun obtained her BEng from Department of Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan. After that, Ying-chun earned her MSc from Department of Biomedical and Environmental Sciences at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, where she conducted her research in developing single optical trapping system for measuring the viscosity changes in cell plasma with drug treatment. Ying-chun then worked as a research assistant in Mackay Memorial Hospital, National Yang-Ming University VYM Genome Research Center, and National Taiwan University Hospital in Taiwan to broaden her knowledge in biomedical engineering field.

Ying-chun's current project focuses on exploring the mechanostructural of cartilage in early osteoarthritis which involves optics, materials and computational model.
