Charlotte Vye

Research Physiotherapist

I am a physiotherapy researcher working in orthopaedic trauma, with an interest in rehabilitation interventions for orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries.

I am currently working on the NIHR-funded REACH study, evaluating the effectiveness of a self-directed rehabilitation programme for adults with proximal humerus fractures. Alongside this, I am coordinating the AFTER-2 implementation project, which explores whether an implementation toolkit supports clinicians to integrate a self-directed programme for ankle fractures within local fracture clinics.

I am also undertaking a Master’s in Health Research Methods at the University of Exeter, where I am developing my research skills and exploring the rehabilitative management of hip fractures.
