NDORMS has a story to tell

A research project into our history is underway that aims to tell the story of NDORMS, formerly known as Nuffield Department of Orthopaedic Surgery (NDOS), from 1937 to the present.

Through objects, images and stories we seek to help preserve and document the story of academic orthopaedics in a period of intense scientific, technological and social development complementing the University's History of the Medical Sciences Project.

Do you have memories to share?

A key aspect of the research includes collecting memories and recollections from staff (past and present), students, patients and volunteers from all areas and occupations.
