Rajalakshmi Punampalam is a Project Manager in Translational Pharmacology Group within the Experimental Medicine at NDORMS, joined in 2023. She contributes to the setup, delivery, and governance of studies, with a focus on human immune challenge models. Her work supports the development of novel study paradigms that enable and accelerate research across academic and industry partnerships. She is involved in regulatory processes, budgeting, multidisciplinary stakeholder coordination, and the operational management of variable research projects within the group, ensuring efficient delivery within study timelines.
Prior to this role, Rajalakshmi joined the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences in 2023 as a Clinical Trials Administrator on the PANORAMIC trial, a large, nationwide adaptive platform trial in the UK aimed at identifying early antiviral treatments for COVID-19.
