Daniel Petrossian

Research Assistant

I am research assistant in the Progatzky group, where we investigate the role of peripheral glial cells in orchestrating immune responses in mucosal barrier organs, such as the gut and the lungs.

I obtained an MSci Molecular Genetics degree from King’s College London, during which I conducted a research project in the lab of Dr Qiuping Zhang investigating the function and role of Nesprin 2 in the nuclear envelope in cardiomyopathies. I then worked as a Research Assistant in the lab of Dr Javier Barallobre-Barreiro at KCL investing the role of the ECM in foetal heart development.
