The internationally renowned MSc programme provides graduate students with comprehensive academic training in the scientific principles and clinical aspects of common musculoskeletal diseases. The multidisciplinary curriculum covers areas including orthopaedics, rheumatology, epidemiology, and scientific writing skills. Students also have the opportunity to get involved in established research projects within NDORMS.
‘We welcome Sarah and Antony to the role and know that they will build on the excellent work done by Steph Dakin, who has been the course director for the past 6 years,’ said Jonathan Rees, Head of Department at NDORMS. ‘Under Steph's leadership, the MSc programme completed a successful review in 2019 where it was recognised as providing a very high standard of teaching and is highly regarded by students and external stakeholders alike. We are grateful for Steph's many contributions, including achieving a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning, being recognised as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and recently being awarded the title of Full Professor.’
Sarah and Antony are both experienced academics in the field of musculoskeletal sciences and we look forward to the continued success of the MSc in Musculoskeletal Sciences under their leadership.
