The TaILOR study has opened to recruitment aiming to enrol 438 participants from 33 sites across all 4 nations in the UK!

This randomised clinical trial is a pragmatic study comparing patient-initiated follow-up (PIFU) versus routine follow-up care in adults with stable inflammatory arthritis.

Individuals on the PIFU pathway are provided with information on how and when to contact their care team if required with a backstop clinic visit every 2 years. Traditionally, routine follow-up care visits are booked every 6-12 months regardless of whether the individual is unwell.
