Introducing CHILL:

A research Study exploring a potential new one time treatment for difficult to treat rheumatoid arthritis or scleroderma.

 

What is CHILL? 

CHILL is clinical study which is testing experimental medicine, with an aim of finding out how the medicine affects people living with rheumatoid arthritis or scleroderma. Further information on the CHILL study and eligibility can be found HERE and HERE

 

What is a clinical study?

When scientists discover a promising new molecule or treatment, many things must be done before it reaches the public. Carefully controlled research studies are legally required before a new treatment can be used in humans to assess:

Safetyincluding side effects
Clinical activityhow it acts in the body
Dosethe optimal amount
Efficacyability to have a therapeutic effect
