Emma Blackmore-Bowes
Clinical Trial Manager
I have recently joined the SITU team as a Clinical Trial Manager for the REINFORCE study. This study aims to evaluate the introduction and scale-up of robot-assisted surgery within the NHS, with particular focus on its impact on clinical pathways, service delivery, effectiveness and cost. REINFORCE is a large-scale, multidisciplinary project involving 16 sites around the UK.
Prior to joining SITU, I was a Tissue Handling Technician within the Oxford Radcliffe Biobank (ORB, NDS) managing the Upper GI pathway. I also have experience working in NHS clinical laboratories. I gained my BSc in Anatomical Sciences from the University of Manchester, going on to achieve my MSc in Forensic Investigations from Cranfield University.
