Fiona Kirkham-Wilson

Clinical Research Fellow and DPhil student

Fiona studied medicine at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ medical school, before moving to Wessex to start work as a doctor. She was awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in Southampton where her work focussed on osteoarthritis and its relationship to hormonal changes throughout a woman’s lifecourse.

Fiona moved to NDORMs to start her DPhil in Clinical Epidemiology and Medical Statistics. Her research uses the RUDY platform to explore real-world evidence in X-linked hypophosphatemia, as well as other rare bone diseases. She brings her interests in women’s health and global health to this work.
