Jonas Sina is a medical doctor currently completing his residency in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery. Alongside his clinical work, he is undertaking a Master’s in Musculoskeletal Sciences at the University of Oxford.
During his medical studies, Jonas was selected for an Individual Education Programme (IEP), a form of education for students who excel in their studies, enabling him to fast-track his education and complete years four and five of his medical studies within a single academic year. He graduated with Dean's Honors.
In parallel, he was appointed as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, where he was part of the Knee Research Group within the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, and Musculoskeletal Sciences. Under the supervision of Dr. Abtin Alvand and Professor Andrew Price, he conducted research focused on prosthetic joint infections and revision knee arthroplasty.
Jonas has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and has presented his research at both national and international scientific conferences. Additionally, he serves as a peer reviewer for journals specializing in Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery.
His primary interest is Orthopedic Surgery, with a particular emphasis on total and partial knee arthroplasty, revision knee arthroplasty, and periprosthetic joint infections.
