Josie Eade

Communications Officer

I joined NDORMS in October 2019 as the communications officer to help our community share news about research, impact, achievements and events.

I create engaging and relevant content and advise on the best channels to share it to our different audiences, including through the media, the website, video, social media, the internal bulletin, or intranet. I have launched a new NDORMS blog site and will be looking for researchers, students and staff volunteers to contribute. I can also provide support and training for media interviews.

I was previously at Saïd Business School where I spent 18 years in a variety of marketing and communications roles, mostly recently as the PR Manager. I led a small team that helped build the reputation of the school as a leading provider of business education, and worked with the international media to tell the story of the positive impact of the school's research and teaching on business.

I have a degree in Business Studies from Middlesex University, and Diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

As a mum of two teenage boys I’m generally on the side of a sports pitch during my free time but also enjoy gardening at home and on my allotment, road cycling, and entering the occasional timetrial.
