Kady Jones

Research Assistant

I am a research assistant in the Coles/Buckley lab working on the role of fibroblasts in Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

I obtained my bachelor's degree from King's College London in Biomedical sciences and graduated with first class honours. I was awarded the British Society for Immunology award for best final project in Immunology for my work on the use of senolytic drugs in COPD. I completed my Masters' in Integrated Immunology at the University of Oxford. Here, I conducted a research project in Dr Fränze Progatzky's lab where I investigated the novel immune response of peripheral glial cells in response to inflammatory airway challenge.

I am now working on the use of organoid models in RA to investigate the different interactions between cells.
