Loay A. Salman

Dr. Loay is an Orthopaedic surgery resident at the ACGME-I accredited residency program at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He is actively involved in various research projects in orthopaedics alongside his surgical training.

He graduated from medical school at Jordan University of Science & Technology in 2019 with an “Excellent” standing. During his final year of medical school, Loay had a medical elective placement at imperial college London, where he rotated in the Orthopaedic surgery department at the Chelsea and Westminster hospital and had the chance to develop further interest in Orthopaedic surgery and the musculoskeletal field as a whole. 

Loay has given several oral presentations at both local and national meetings. He has also received an excellence award from the Royal College of Surgeons for his outstanding performance in the MRCS A exam. Moreover, he’s looking to broaden his understanding of MSK basic sciences and research throughout the course of this MSc.
