Bio

I am a doctor with a strong passion for pursuing a career in academic plastic surgery. Having recently completed my two-year foundation training, I am honoured to join the NDORMS team as I embark on a Masters by Research degree.

My research focuses on pre-tibial soft tissue injuries in the elderly, a particularly vulnerable population in our aging society. This work seeks to enhance our understanding of these injuries and establish a set of research priorities to guide future investigations and improve patient care. By addressing this critical area, I aim to contribute to the advancement of evidence-based strategies for managing these complex injuries.

Prior to joining NDORMS, I studied medicine at the University of Dundee, graduating in 2022, and completed my foundation training in my hometown of Glasgow. I have been actively involved in international research collaborations, including STARSurg UK and the RSTN, where I have had the privilege of leading several international surgical projects aimed at improving patient outcomes. These experiences have solidified my commitment to research and its vital role in driving progress in surgical care.
