Tess Lawless
Administrative Assistant (Meetings, Events, and Communications)
I joined the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology in 2025 as the Events and Communications Assistant. I graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Literature and History in 2021, and have worked at the University of Oxford since 2022, with some time in between spent working in the US.
My role focuses on supporting the organisation and delivery of the Institute’s busy programme of seminars, meetings and events, as well as assisting with communications and wider administrative support across the Institute. I am line managed by the Strategic Projects and Events Manager, and work closely with the Director’s office, and colleagues across the Institute to make sure everything is well organised, clearly communicated and runs seamlessly.
You can contact me with queries about seminars, meetings or events – I’m always happy to help.
