EndoNET Clinical Trial Manager
I am currently working on the EndoNET study, a randomised controlled trial investigating whether neo-adjuvant endocrine therapy prior to surgery leads to better outcomes for post-menopausal women with oestrogen receptor positive breast cancer.
Prior to this I worked on the MACRO Trial, an ENT study, which aimed to produce evidence about the effectiveness and role of medical treatment (long-term antibiotics) and sinus surgery in adults with Chronic Rhinosinusitis (CRS) both with and without polyps. The results are published in the Lancet: The clinical effectiveness of clarithromycin versus endoscopic sinus surgery for adults with chronic rhinosinusitis with and without nasal polyps (MACRO): a pragmatic, multicentre, three-arm, randomised, placebo-controlled phase 4 trial - The Lancet
I originally joined SITU as the UK TAVI Trial Manager in March 2018. UK TAVI was an NIHR HTA funded multi-centre randomised controlled trial to assess the clinical effectiveness and cost-utility of TAVI compared with conventional surgical AVR in patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis at intermediate or high operative risk. The results are published in JAMA here: Effect of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation vs Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement on All-Cause Mortality in Patients With Aortic Stenosis: A Randomized Clinical Trial | Trials | JAMA | JAMA Network
Prior to this, I worked as the Clinical Trial Administrator on the AspECT Trial for the Oncology Clinical Trials Office at the University of Oxford. The results are published in the Lancet: Esomeprazole and aspirin in Barrett's oesophagus (AspECT): a randomised factorial trial - The Lancet
